Christmas was her favorite time of year. She did the Christmas countdowns starting in July. She made Tik Toks with images that filled your senses with the spirit of the season. She loved to decorate!
She had her own Christmas tree and nativity amongst, lights and other decorations that filled her room with the warmth of a hallmark movie. She loved to bake and do holiday crafts. She believed in the magic of Santa Claus and named her Elves on the Shelf Colby and Sugar. She loved candy canes, Hot cocoa, and the Starbucks Peppermint drink. If you asked her what her favorite part of Christmas was, like any kid, she loved presents! She loved shopping for presents and giving them to her loved ones and always asked us to pick angels off the angel trees that we would see while out and about during the season.
Near the end of August 2023, ZoeJane knew her health was failing her. She asked us if we could celebrate Christmas early. With a broken heart and a smile trying to hide our fear we said ABSOLUTELY!!! The Christmas tree went up, Christmas lights went on, the elves arrived with a note to say, "You can't celebrate Christmas without us! We love you!", and our Sweet ZoeJane followers made her Christmas wish list come true! Friends and family gathered to celebrate with us and Santa Claus even made a special visit just for her! They have a special relationship, ZoeJane and Santa. Beautiful and heart breaking memories were made.
On September 21st, ZoeJane returned home to our Heavenly Fathers arms and the only comfort we found when Christmas time arrived was knowing she was actually celebrating with Jesus himself.
Today, September 2, it's been three years since we celebrated ZoeJane's Special Christmas in September. Our family wants to honor our Queen of Christmas by helping bring smiles to the faces of children in need this coming holiday season. ZoeJane loved to give and what better way for us to keep her with us this season?
We are asking for those who want to join us in honoring ZoeJane to help us raise money that will be used to buy gifts for children in need. The money raised will bring smiles not only to the children who will receive the gifts but to the faces of ZoeJane's brothers, cousins, and friends as they shop in her memory.
Pictures and video of all the fun had in this service project will be shared on Sweet ZoeJane's facebook page.
Be sure to check out our Video Gallery for a cute Christmas performance by ZoeJane.
Any donation will help us meet our goal of $1000. If you aren't able to donate please share this fundraiser!
The last two years have been a huge success thanks to all of you! THANK YOU!
