William's Warriors DIPG Fund

William had a sense of humor that commanded any room he was in. He could not WAIT to share a newly learned joke, and the only thing more endearing than the joke itself was the vibrant laugh that followed. His sense of humor was rivaled by the fierce love he had for his family, friends, and teachers – which was indicative of being named Bobcat of the Month amongst his classmates. The depth of caring, empathy, and kindness William had for those around him are the innate qualities that define his legacy.

There was no better big brother – caring for, teaching, and setting an example for his two sisters, Layton and Hazel, every day. So much so, that they have assumed his silly nature, fun personality, kind heart, and never-ending affinity for snacks. He was a sports fiend, animal lover, and couldn’t wait to learn (and win) new games. Man, did he hate to lose! William was curious, courageous, and an inspiration to the many who were fortunate to know him.

On November 25, 2025 – William was diagnosed with DIPG, an extremely rare, highly aggressive, inoperable brain tumor. Though this disease took many things, it did not take away the remarkable qualities that defined William. Even throughout his fight, he had a unique and indescribable way of making you feel like the most important person in the world; a trait that made him mature beyond his years.

On Thursday, October 8th, 2026 William passed away peacefully from his battle with DIPG. The remarkable qualities that define William, the strength he showed, and the incredible love he had for so many continue to power our community in support and remembrance of our cherished buddy.
