In the fall of 2025, McLaren started getting headaches. At first, we thought it was just part of growing up. Three weeks later, after the pain continued, a CT scan showed nothing abnormal — we were so relieved.
But two days later, everything changed. McLaren began having severe headaches and lost motor function on her right side. On October 1st, 2025, an MRI revealed a mass in front and beside her brain stem.
A biopsy was done on October 3rd, and it confirmed our worst fear — the mass is cancerous. We’re waiting for the full diagnosis and treatment plan next week.
Through every appointment, every hard moment, McLaren has been strong, sweet, and full of light. She’s showing us what real courage looks like.
We’re deeply grateful for all the love and prayers coming our way.
