4 Moms Fighting to Save Their Children from the Only Pediatric Cancer With No Cure...yet
We are four moms—Jenn, Holly, Katie, and Janie. Our children—Izzy (4), Cora (9), John Paul (9) and Olivia (3)—were all diagnosed with DIPG in 2025.
DIPG is the most devastating pediatric cancer. It is inoperable. Terminal. And as of today, there is still no cure. Families are told to “go make memories.”
We refuse to accept that.
Each of our children has fought through clinical trials. Not one of them is a cure… yet. But something is changing. For the first time, researchers are seeing real progress:
• Tumors shrinking
• Neurological function returning
• Children living years beyond expected
There is hope—but it is fragile.
We are raising funds to support two promising trials:
1 An oncolytic virus therapy designed to attack and destroy DIPG tumor cells. Early results have already shown children surviving years beyond prognosis.
2 An mRNA vaccine targeting the H3K27M mutation, the mutation that makes this cancer so aggressive. Similar approaches are already showing breakthroughs in other cancers.
These trials are at risk due to lack of funding. If they stall or shut down, progress toward a cure is delayed, time our children do not have.
We are not just fighting for our own kids. We are fighting for every family who will hear this diagnosis in the future, because no parent should ever be told there is nothing they can do to save their child.
If you can donate, thank you.
If you can share, that matters just as much.
We believe a cure is possible.
Help us get there in time.
Donations made to Tough2gether Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. While funds raised in connection with this fund will directly support its cause, all donations are made to Tough2gether Foundation and may also be used to support other families facing pediatric cancer, related programs, and charitable initiatives at the Foundation’s discretion.
